What it is and when to use it
The EuroTec ETUF-9060F packs 60 m² of outside-in PVDF UF membrane into a narrower Ø258 × 2,130 mm module, with 0.025 µm pores and 6-log bacteria removal. Choose it when rack width or floor space is tight but you still want 60 m² per module, for example on containerised or compact skids.
According to the EuroTec brochure, the 9060F has the same 60 m² area and 2.5 bar maximum feed pressure as the 9060R, but its diameter is 86 mm smaller (258 mm vs 344 mm) and it is 210 mm shorter. The connections also differ: 1.5″ FNPT for feed and filtrate, but a 1.0″ FNPT concentrate port, compared with 1.5″ on the 9060R.
The smaller diameter allows modules to be spaced more closely, fitting more membrane area into a given rack width. When designing or retrofitting a skid, account for the different concentrate connection size in the manifold. The membrane is EuroTec's PVDF hollow fibre with a narrow pore-size distribution, which supports stable permeability and filtrate quality.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the ETUF-9060F and ETUF-9060R?
Both have 60 m² of PVDF outside-in membrane and a 2.5 bar maximum feed pressure. The 9060F is Ø258 × 2,130 mm, while the 9060R is Ø344 × 2,340 mm. The 9060F also uses a 1.0″ FNPT concentrate port instead of 1.5″. It suits compact skids where width matters.
Why would I choose a narrower UF module?
A narrower module lets you place modules closer together, fitting more membrane area into a limited rack width or container. That is useful for mobile or containerised plants and for retrofits in existing buildings. The 9060F keeps 60 m² per module despite its 258 mm diameter.
Can the ETUF-9060F be used in cross-flow and dead-end modes?
The published EuroTec datasheet covering cross-flow and dead-end operation is for the ETUF-9060R. The 9060F uses the same outside-in PVDF membrane, but confirm operating mode, flux and cleaning parameters for your feed water with our team before finalising the design.
