EuroTec UF Membrane Modules Supplier in India

Ultrafiltration (UF) is a low-pressure membrane process that physically removes suspended solids, colloids and bacteria from water. Hollow-fibre UF modules contain thousands of porous fibres; in an outside-in module, feed water surrounds the fibres and filtrate is drawn through the fibre wall into the bore. UF delivers consistently low-turbidity, low-SDI water, which is why it is widely used as pre-treatment ahead of reverse osmosis and in water reuse schemes.

Navbharat Water supplies EuroTec UF membrane modules across India from its Mumbai base and builds them into the UF and RO plants it designs. EuroTec is a third-party brand: NWPL is its supplier and system integrator, not its manufacturer. All four modules use PVDF hollow fibres with a 0.025 µm pore size, outside-in flow and 6-log bacteria removal, and run in cross-flow or dead-end mode. The ETUF-9060R is the standard 60 m² module (Ø344 × 2,340 mm); the ETUF-9040R gives 40 m² in a shorter 1,600 mm housing; the ETUF-9060F fits 60 m² into a narrower Ø258 mm housing for tight racks; and the ETUF-9076D offers 76 m² with a 6.0 bar feed-pressure rating for high-turbidity and high-flow duties.

To size a UF system, set a design flux from feed quality, with 60–120 LMH the typical range and lower flux for dirtier water. Divide the net flow by flux and membrane area to get the module count, allowing for backwash water. Then choose the format by footprint and pressure: the 9060R for most plants, the 9040R for smaller systems, the 9060F where rack width is limited and the 9076D where higher feed pressure or more area is needed. Plan backwash, air scour and chemical cleaning from the start.
