What it is and when to use it
The NWPL TDF is a single-bag filter housing with a top inlet. Liquid enters above the bag through a trumpet-shaped space that spreads flow evenly. Choose it when you want even flow distribution, low pressure loss and quick, clean bag changes without spilling collected solids back downstream.
With a top-inlet design, liquid fills the bag from above, so the entire bag surface is used and solids stay inside the bag when it is lifted out. The trumpet-shaped inlet space distributes flow automatically, reducing pressure and keeping filtration steady.
The body is made with a precise casting mould. A symmetrical bolt design with a plastic ring seal prevents deformation and spills, and the fast-opening lid has no junk ring, so the bag can be changed without secondary pollution. Adjustable support feet allow the housing to be fitted to the available space. It accepts standard filter bags in PP, PE, nylon, membrane or high-temperature grades.

Why choose a top-inlet bag filter housing?
A top-inlet housing feeds liquid into the bag from above, so the whole bag area is used and trapped solids stay inside the bag when it is removed. The TDF adds a trumpet-shaped inlet space that distributes flow and reduces pressure, which keeps filtration stable and makes bag changes cleaner.
What does "no junk ring" mean on the TDF housing?
In some housings, a separate ring holds the bag in place and must be removed during each change. The TDF lid design does not need one, so the housing opens quickly and the bag comes out without disturbing collected solids. That reduces the risk of secondary contamination during maintenance.
Which filter bags can I use in the NWPL TDF housing?
